The basic needs department responds to the basic and emergency needs of youth by providing a variety of services and resources. The drop-in centre, located at 125 Sherbrook Street, is open during daytime hours with a number of staff ready to respond to the needs of any youth who walk through the doors.
Available services include:
- Youth Food Bank (available to youth under the age of 18)
- Free Clothing and Linens Bank
- Free Hygiene Bank stocked with toiletries and feminine hygiene products
- Free condoms
- Connect 2 phone message service
- Free laundry
- Showers
- Pet Food/Supplies
- Lunch Meal Monday-Friday at 1:00
- Friends for Pets spay and neutering program (Winnipeg Humane Society)
