The first of its kind in Winnipeg, The Winnipeg Street Health Report is a call to reduce and eliminate homelessness rather than continue with the current model of managing homelessness. With 15 recommendations, the report is a call to action.
West Broadway Neighbourhood Safety Plan (2010)
The West Broadway Safety Plan is a document built out of community involvement,
reflecting the common goals and shared experiences of hundreds of people who live,
work and volunteer in this neighbourhood. Its main objectives are to contextualize West
Broadway’s safety issues, offering analysis of the community’s strengths and limitations,
and providing recommendations for how best to build a safer neighbourhood.
Meeting the Needs of Youth: Perspectives From Youth-Serving Agencies (2010)
This research report provides an overview of the ‘state of youth’ in Winnipeg communities by addressing two main questions: What are the issues that youth in Winnipeg face? What are the difficulties youth-serving agencies encounter when helping the populations of youth they serve?

Changing Patterns For Street Involved Youth (2009)
To identify the changing needs of street-involved youth in Toronto, The Yonge Street Mission (YSM) conducted interviews with agencies serving youth and hundreds of street involved youth from all backgrounds, in all parts of the city. The study confirmed some expectations about the changing circumstances of youth, but also produced some surprising results, and provided solid evidence to support changes in policy and programs designed to support street involved youth.
