As the original program of the agency (formerly Operation Go Home), RaY has a long history of conducting street outreach in the City of Winnipeg.  RaY’s street outreach program is often the initial access point for street-involved youth and has no specific agenda, intention or motivation other than to connect with young people who are without a support system.  The outreach team provides youth with information, resources and options in an effort to improve their quality of life and reduce the harms associated with a life on the streets. 

The team actively searches areas throughout the city where youth are known to congregate both during the day and at night with the intention of building relationships and encouraging healthier choices.  RaY is a partner agency in the Winnipeg Outreach Network which helps to coordinate outreach activities throughout the city.
