The REAL Youth Council wants to hear from you!
Do you have any ideas for RaY, programming suggestions, questions about council or really anything you want to share. We are here to listen. We may not be able to make it all come true, but we want to hear your thoughts so we can make RaY the best place it can be for youth to feel safe and supported!
"The REAL Council empowers youth, regardless of background, to take an active role in making our community better for everyone who live in it. Councillors will learn the power they have and gain the skills they need to take charge of their lives, to organize, to co-operate, and to inspire others to meet their own potential. Most of all, they will not do so alone. With the support of a team of young individuals with different perspectives, but similar goals, councillors will see the changes they make before their own eyes, in the model for which RaY is known best; what we need, on our terms.”

"RaY is an enjoyable place for young adults to come hangout meet new people who may become long time friends, develop good trustworthy relationships with staff who are very caring and connected with the broadway community. Even if you’re not quite up for chit chatting, having an off day and would rather prefer being around others or just grabbing a bite of a nice hot meal. This space at 125 Sherbrooke is non judgmental and everyone is welcome! They have many options for resources,fun workshops everyday. Come on down don’t be shy ask anyone and they’ll be more than happy to help YOU. Ray has been around for many years, they are committed to helping and supporting the community, cant wait to see how the future of ray will be as it’s always growing to be better. You will never feel alone when coming to ray everyone is your family.”

REAL RESOURCES
The REAL Youth Council has put together a booklet filled with resources they can be beneficial to RaY youth. They have identified five key sections: Calming Toolbox, Cultural, Relationships, Addictions/Harm Reduction and Neurodiversity.
