STREET OUTREACH

The Street Outreach Program delivers mobile services to folks on the streets. Our Outreach Team drives around the city and provides immediate resources to you wherever you are at.

What does the Outreach Team Provide?

  • Hearty sandwiches and water

  • Safer sex kits

  • Warm clothing and socks

  • Harm reduction supplies, including cleans, stems, rigs, etc.

  • Narcan (naloxone) kits for overdose prevention

  • Resources and referrals, including the Winnipeg Street Guide

Items available are based on funding and donations. Not all items are always available.

Where can you find the RaY Street Outreach Team?

Our street outreach team drives all over Winnipeg, trying to find folks on the streets. We go under bridges and into encampments where we’re welcome, bringing resources and supplies with us.

Do you need to be under 30 to access street outreach?

No! Our Street Outreach Team will chat with anyone on the streets about services and supports. If we can’t refer you to services at RaY, we can still help you find what you need.

Keep an eye out for the RaY van and give us a wave!

The Outreach team will be happy to stop and chat.

We acknowledge we are gathered on Treaty 1 Territory and that Manitoba is located on the Treaty Territories and ancestral lands of the Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Denesuline and Nehethowuk Nations, and the homeland of the Métis. We acknowledge northern Manitoba includes lands that were and are the ancestral lands of the Inuit. We acknowledge that our water here in Winnipeg is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation.
